The new GrandTouch™ pedals in the CLP-800 series not only resemble piano pedals but also allow pianists to feel the same resistance underfoot when pressing and releasing the pedal as on a real piano. GP Response even reproduces differences in resistance based on how you press the pedal, just like on acoustic pianos.

The CLP-800 series is equipped with a new tone generator chip, featuring higher computing power that delivers Yamaha's highest quality piano sounds to date. It includes sounds from two world-renowned concert grand pianos; the CFX, Yamaha's flagship concert grand piano, and the Bösendorfer Imperial with its famous Viennese sound.
The CLP-895 GP is also equipped with sounds from 4 fortepianos, the predecessor of the modern piano, which were played during the time of Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin.

ENHANCED SPEAKER TECHNOLOGY
Yamaha's pinnacle acoustic technology for digital pianos, Grand Acoustic Imaging, reproduces the sound of a concert grand piano. This technology offers the latest acoustic design optimized for the shape of an electric piano, allowing the sound to spread throughout your playing space. Grand Acoustic Imaging on the CLP-865 GP provides a natural stereo sound presence. Low, mid, and high speakers with amplification power (45 W + 35 W) × 2 speaker system.
DESIGN
The CLP-800 series is the closest to a concert grand piano, not only in terms of feel and sound but also in terms of design.
Yamaha electric pianos in the CLP-800 series feature many gentle curves, similar to those found in acoustic instruments. The wide music rest built into the instrument is very functional, as it can hold multiple open sheets.
The LED display and touch sensor control panel are designed to turn off except when the player is adjusting settings, so they are not visible in the pianist's line of sight while playing.
BINAURAL SAMPLING
When using headphones, many may find their ears fatigued if they play for too long.
Binaural sampling addresses this issue. In this sampling method, special microphones are placed on a dummy head in the same position as the pianist's ears to capture sounds as the pianist would hear them in reality. This makes pianists feel as if they are sitting at a concert grand piano, even when playing with headphones. The experience is so enjoyable that they forget they are wearing headphones, no matter how long they play.
BLUETOOTH® CONNECTIVITY
Play your favorite songs via Bluetooth® connection on your piano and listen to them on the high-quality speakers of the CLP series pianos. You can even sit down at the instrument and play along with your favorite artists!
RECORD YOUR PERFORMANCES
