Description
With its height 131 cm it represents the professional model of the U series. Longer bass strings, a large soundboard, and robust construction create a powerful, full, and balanced sound with excellent dynamic range. Because of these characteristics, the U3H has represented a standard in music schools, conservatories, recording studios, and concert halls for decades.
The U3H model uses extremely precise Yamaha action, allowing for fast key repetition, excellent dynamic control, and a reliable feel while playing. Its sound is clear and distinct, yet somewhat warmer than that of later models U3M and U3A, which is why many pianists still particularly appreciate it today.
With professional restoration and regular maintenance, the Yamaha U3H can easily serve multiple generations of pianists. Due to its quality, long lifespan, and excellent value, it is considered one of the best investments among used acoustic pianos.
