Yamaha introduces a new generation of pianos Series B, which combines richer sound, proven quality, and an improved playing experience at an affordable price. With newly developed hammers and a redesigned soundboard, the new models provide a clear, expressive tone and natural resonance that delights both beginners and experienced pianists.
In addition to improved sound, the B series pianos also offer more comfort in use, including a wider music rest and a soft-close keyboard lid mechanism. Available are three models of different heights, with the option of SILENT Piano™ or TransAcoustic™ technologies, which adapt to different lifestyles. The new B series remains true to Yamaha's tradition of reliability and quality, bringing more joy to playing in every home.

Clear tone and rich resonance for a superior playing experience
Yamaha has developed special hammers for the new B series that utilize the exceptional elasticity of felt and are based on knowledge gained from the development of the concert piano CFX.
The redesigned soundboard ensures exceptionally clear sound even at compact dimensions, which are ideal for home use. The soundboard features a curved structure known as a "crown," where even the slightest changes in shape can affect the character of the tone. To protect this sensitive structure from the strong tension of the strings and maintain optimal resonance, all models are equipped with five supporting braces on the back.
In the B10 and B20 models, the height and consequently the surface area of the soundboard have been increased, allowing for a wider dynamic range and a richer, fuller sound. Longer bass strings further enhance tuning stability and create a beautifully balanced sound with rich low tones.
Adapted to different lifestyles
The wide music rest, which extends the entire length of the keyboard lid, allows for easy placement of multiple sheet music or even long, folded scores without having to turn pages. The top surface of the rest is deep and finished with non-slip fine artificial leather, ensuring stability even with thicker music collections and allowing for complete focus on performance.
The built-in soft-close mechanism ensures that the keyboard cover closes gently and securely. To accommodate different lifestyles, all models are also available in versions SILENT Piano™, which allow for practice with headphones, or TransAcoustic™ Piano, which allows for volume control while maintaining the rich acoustic resonance of the instrument.
While preserving the essence of an acoustic piano, these features allow pianists to fully immerse themselves in playing anytime, regardless of time or surroundings.
